October 23, 2009: Phoenix, AZ 85017 The Tempe Prep Knights football team (Tempe, AZ), was beaten 28-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles (Phoenix, AZ)
The Golden Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Phoenix come into the 2A West challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Tonopah Valley was beaten by Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 29-13, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camp Verde for a 2A Central challenge on Friday, October 30. Tempe Prep will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 50-0 league loss to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-3.
