In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a 6A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 9. Central Hardin will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 22-9 league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY).
