August 26, 2011: New Carlisle, IN 46552 The New Prairie Cougars football team (New Carlisle, IN), was ripped 49-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN)
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies come into the Northwest Crossroads challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hobart was ripped by Crown Point (Crown Point, IN), 45-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bremen for a Northern State challenge on Friday, September 2. New Prairie will meet a Lions team coming off a 48-20 non-league win over Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
