Nebraska High School Football - Roncalli Catholic gets by Syracuse
September 23, 2011: Omaha, NE 68152 The Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Syracuse Rockets to 26 in the Crimson Pride non-league victory on Friday.
The Crimson Pride now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wahoo for a C1 District 2 battle on Friday, September 30. Roncalli Catholic will play a Warriors squad coming off a 46-6 league win over Douglas County West (Valley, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
Coming up next, the Rockets play the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a C1 District 1 battle, on Friday, September 30. Syracuse will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 69-0 league win over Conestoga (Murray, NE).
