New York High School Lacrosse - Kennedy overwhelms Jericho
April 20, 2010: Jericho, NY 11753 The Kennedy Cougars lacrosse squad scored 11 points and held the host Jericho Jayhawks to 4 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (Levittown, NY). The Generals enter the Section 8 B - League 2 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, MacArthur got by Elmont Memorial (Elmont, NY), 11-5, in a league contest.
The Jayhawks now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host New Hyde Park Memorial for a Section 8 B - League 2 contest on Friday, April 23. Jericho will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 10-3 league loss to Carey (Franklin Square, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-3.
