Virginia High School Lacrosse - Pope John Paul the Great bounces Freedom
May 11, 2011: Woodbridge, VA 22191 The Pope John Paul the Great Wolves lacrosse squad scored 14 points and held the host Freedom Eagles to 1 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Pope John Paul the Great upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Wolves host Benedictine (Richmond, VA) to battle the Cadets in a VISAA Division 1 outing on Friday, May 13. The Cadets go into the outing with a record of 6-9. Benedictine lost 12-3 in their recent league outing against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA)
With the defeat, Freedom drops to 0-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) to battle the Bruins in a Cardinal outing on Thursday, May 12. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Forest Park won 13-9 in their recent league outing against Hylton (Woodbridge, VA)
