The Salmon River Shamrocks ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the visiting Potsdam Sandstoners to 3 in the Shamrocks league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Salmon River moves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Canton (Canton, NY) to face the Golden Bears in a Division 1 contest on Friday, February 10. The Golden Bears go into the contest with a record of 2-7. Canton won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against St. Lawrence Central (Brasher Falls, NY)
