Season Outlook
No doubt about it, Crystal River should be able to run the football. With the best line they've had in five years and proven RBs returning, the ground game should be a big strength. Tavin Devaughn and Alton Pierce will both see carries, and newcomer Travaugh Brooks could sneak into the backfield, too. WRs Daniel Beatty and Johnny Macdonald are experienced and talented. Who will throw them the ball is a question. With a good line and good RBs, the Pirates should be able to control the ball and line of scrimage. If the defense is solid (and significant experience returns) and a QB emerges, coach Anthony Paradiso should have a very nice year.
