The Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) basketball knocked off the host Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), 78-65 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Firebirds (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Cincinnati, OH). The Vikings go into the Greater Miami test with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Princeton gained a win over Middletown (Middletown, OH), 61-56, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Colonels confront the North Bullitt Eagles (Shepherdsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Dixie Heights will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record.
