In Sunday's non-league outing, the Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ), by a count of 55-30.

The Blue Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the Big North - VI outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Ramapo smashed Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ), 40-39, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Montville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4. Chatham will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-33 non-league win over Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.
