The Jefferson Jaguars bounced the host Highland Park Scots ice hockey squad by a tally of 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league match.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 9. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 0-0 league New Prague (New Prague, MN).
The Scots (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Simley held off Johnson (St. Paul, MN), 4-1, in a non-league match.
