In Monday's league match, the host Loyola Cubs basketball team scored a tight 58-53 triumph over the St. Francis Golden Knights.
In their next game, the Cubs meet the Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) in a Mission match, on Wednesday, January 12. Loyola will attempt to better on its 18-2 season record.
