Marceline Tigers (Marceline, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brashear Tigers (Brashear, MO), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marceline upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Tigers host Linn County (Purdin, MO) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Linn County lost 72-37 in their recent non-league bout against La Plata (La Plata, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Brunswick Wildcats (Brunswick, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 21. Brashear will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
