In Tuesday's non-league outing, the O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), by a margin of 64-42.
The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the Southwestern outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Belleville West was trounced by Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 46-45, in a league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Marion for a South Seven outing on Friday, January 13. Althoff Catholic will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Cairo (Cairo, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-9.
