Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL), 50-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Autauga Academy upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Generals host Monroe Academy (Monroeville, AL) to play the Volunteers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Volunteers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Monroe Academy won 68-39 in their recent non-league bout against Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL)

Next up, the Lions play the Cornerstone Christian Chargers (Columbiana, AL) in a AISA A Region 1 bout, on Friday, January 13. Evangel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 56-44 league win over Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL).
