St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 62-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Saints host East Lyme (East Lyme, CT) to play the Vikings in a Eastern Connecticut I bout on Friday, January 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-5. East Lyme won 90-62 in their recent non-league bout against Stonington (Stonington, CT)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Bacon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT).
