Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Hiawatha Collegiate upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The travel to Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Bears play the Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) in a AA Section 5 bout, on Friday, January 13. Blake will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 78-61 league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN).
