Kansas High School Basketball - Cunningham trounces Burrton

January 10, 2023: Cunningham, KS 67035

The Cunningham Wildcats (Cunningham, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Burrton Chargers (Burrton, KS), 80-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their test against South Barber (Kiowa, KS). The Chieftains go into the Heart of the Plains test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, South Barber was trounced by Norwich (Norwich, KS), 46-21, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Attica for a Heart of the Plains test on Friday, January 13. Burrton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Central Christian (Hutchinson, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
