The Caprock Longhorns basketball team scored 63 points and held the host River Road Wildcats to 57 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a 5A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, January 13. Caprock will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-52 non-league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-14.

The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Falcons enter the 3A Region I District 1 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Bushland was nudged by Clarendon (Clarendon, TX), 70-42, in a non-league contest.
