Heartland Christian (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE), 37-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Heartland Christian upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The travel to Riverside (Oakland, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Riverside lost 74-34 in their recent non-league bout against AHSTW (Avoca, IA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Cedar Bluffs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 44-34 non-league win over Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE).
