The Conant Cougars basketball team (Hoffman Estates, IL), dropped 48-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL)
The Knights now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East battle on Friday, January 13. Prospect will battle a Bison team coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Bison record now stands at 6-10.
The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings come into the Mid-Suburban - West battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Fremd beat Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 62-41, in a non-league battle.
