The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles to 51 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kimball/White Lake for a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. Corsica/Stickney will play a Wildkats squad coming off a 66-59 league win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Wildkats record now stands at 1-3.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Mitchell Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 66-31 league loss to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD).
