The River Valley Blackhawks basketball team (Spring Green, WI), was overwhelmed 72-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI)
The Redbirds now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral Point for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle on Thursday, January 12. Darlington will confront a Pointers team coming off a 67-58 league win over Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 10-0.
The Blackhawks (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Hornets come into the Southwest Wisconsin battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Richland Center trounced Lancaster (Lancaster, WI), 51-49, in a league battle.
