The Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) basketball felled the visiting Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA), 67-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks go into the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Jesup was beaten by Hudson (Hudson, IA), 64-51, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Union for a North Iowa Cedar - East test on Friday, January 13. Dike-New Hartford will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 72-31 non-league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-7.
