Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI), 77-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dow upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Central (Bay City, MI) to clash with the Wolves in a Saginaw Valley bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Lightning clash with the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Lapeer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 56-55 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
