New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Joseph can't hold off East Brunswick

The East Brunswick Bears basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Falcons to 70 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red contest on Thursday, January 12. East Brunswick will battle a Vikings team coming off a 71-47 league win over Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Monroe Township was nipped by J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ), 49-39, in a league match.
