In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT), by a margin of 90-62.
The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints go into the Eastern Connecticut I outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, St. Bernard smashed Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 62-41, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Killingly for a Eastern Connecticut II outing on Saturday, January 14. Stonington will clash with a Redmen squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 6-2.
