Iowa High School Basketball - Marquette trounces Edgewood-Colesburg

The Marquette Mohawks (Bellevue, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA), 78-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mohawks (13-0) will now prepare for their test against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Knights go into the River Valley test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, North Cedar was trounced by Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA), 51-26, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Alburnett for a Tri-Rivers test on Friday, January 13. Edgewood-Colesburg will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-3.
