In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Edwardsburg Eddies basketball team scored a tight 56-51 triumph over the Portage Central Mustangs.
In their next game, the Eddies meet the Niles Vikings (Niles, MI) in a Wolverine B match, on Friday, January 13. Edwardsburg will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Beatty (Cassopolis, MI).
With the defeat, Portage Central moves to 2-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI) to meet the Maroon Giants in a non-league match on Thursday, January 12. The Maroon Giants enter the match with a record of 4-0.
