The Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) basketball knocked off the host Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), 57-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hornets (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Trojans go into the Lehigh Valley test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Parkland notched a victory over Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA), 60-40, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Stroudsburg for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Pleasant Valley will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-9.
