The Farrell Steelers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils to 39 in the Steelers non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Farrell upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Steelers travel to Mercer (Mercer, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Mercer won 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Sharpsville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 63-29 non-league loss to Shenango (New Castle, PA).
