In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team scored a good 65-49 triumph over the Florence/Henry Falcons.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Northwestern Area will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 56-55 league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD).
With the defeat, Florence/Henry moves to 1-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, January 12.
