Paideia Pythons (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA), 61-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Paideia upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Pythons host Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D1 Region 6A bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy won 74-38 in their recent league bout against Atlanta International (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Scots play the St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) in a A D1 Region 6A bout, on Friday, January 13. Galloway will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 67-52 league win over The Weber School (Atlanta, GA).
