The Margaretville Central Blue Devils basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats to 40 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Kortright Central for a Section 4 Delaware County - Upper Delaware contest on Thursday, January 12. Margaretville Central will battle a Rams team coming off a 84-43 league win over Charlotte Valley (Davenport, NY). The Rams record now stands at 11-1.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Central (Jefferson, NY). The Jayhawks enter the Section 4 Delaware County - Upper Delaware contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Central was defeated by Windham-Ashland-Jewett (Windham, NY), 32-28, in a league contest.
