With the win, Grandview upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Center (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Knights face the Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 11. Southeast will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 13-0 record after their 56-34 league win over Lawson (Lawson, MO).
