The Greater New Bedford RVT Bears basketball team (New Bedford, MA), was nudged 63-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Seekonk Warriors (Seekonk, MA)
The Warriors now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairhaven for a South Coast battle on Friday, January 13. Seekonk will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-34 non-league win over Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
The Bears (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA). The Falcons come into the South Coast battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional was nudged by Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA), 68-53, in a league battle.
