Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Judson upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Rockets host East Central (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 15-9. East Central won 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Alexander (Laredo, TX)

Next up, the Hawks play the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, January 13. Harlan will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 73-49 league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX).
