Connecticut High School Basketball - Hartford Public overwhelmed by Lewis Mills

The Lewis Mills Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Hartford Public Owls to 34 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Lewis Mills will battle a Blue Dragons team coming off a 87-62 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 5-4.
The Owls (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newington (Newington, CT). The Nor'easters come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Newington was routed by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT), 61-43, in a non-league bout.
