The Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD), 50-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Monarchs (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions go into the B Region 1 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Langford was tipped by Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 63-35, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Redfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24.
