Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), 59-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA) to clash with the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Dodgers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Fort Dodge lost 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Marshalltown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 71-70 non-league win over Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA).
