New Jersey High School Basketball - Notre Dame can't hold off Hopewell Valley Central

The Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Notre Dame Irish to 32 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a Colonial Valley contest on Friday, January 13. Hopewell Valley Central will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 11-4.
The Irish (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ). The Pirates enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, West Windsor-Plainsboro South nudged Florence Township Memorial (Florence, NJ), 42-37, in a non-league contest.
