The Hudson Hornets basketball team (Lufkin, TX), was toppled 57-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX)
The Dragons now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, January 13. Nacogdoches will confront a Hornets team coming off a 80-56 non-league loss to Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-11.
The Hornets (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region III District 18 battle with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, Madisonville was toppled by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 38-27, in a non-league battle.
