The Humboldt Wildcats basketball team (Humboldt, IA), dropped 84-73 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA)
The Titans now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a Twin Lakes battle on Friday, January 13. South Central Calhoun will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-53 non-league loss to Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Lions come into the North Central battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Clear Lake prevailed over Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 81-67, in a non-league battle.
