Minnesota High School Basketball - Hutchinson topped by Sauk Rapids-Rice

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Hutchinson Tigers to 61 in the Storm non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Storm now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delano for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Sauk Rapids-Rice will battle a Tigers team coming off a 83-61 non-league win over New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.

The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Stars come into the AAA Section 6 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Academy of Holy Angels prevailed over Richfield (Richfield, MN), 65-63, in a league contest.
