Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), 67-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Norwich Free Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT) to play the Jesuits in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Jesuits go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
Next up, the Redmen play the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Killingly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 68-51 league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT).
