Maine High School Basketball - Yarmouth tipped by Leavitt

The Leavitt Hornets basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Yarmouth Clippers to 51 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Leavitt will meet a Huskies team coming off a 56-29 non-league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 2-9.
The Clippers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Freeport was nudged by Wells (Wells, ME), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
