The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mason City Mohawks to 40 in the Railsplitters league triumph on Tuesday.
The Railsplitters now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a Freelance bout on Friday, January 13. Lincoln will play a Roughriders squad coming off a 73-58 non-league loss to Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-5.
Next up, the Mohawks play the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Mason City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 62-31 non-league win over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA).
