Washington High School Basketball - Mt. Baker overwhelmed by Lynden

The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 29 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Thursday, January 12. Lynden will battle a Borderites team coming off a 78-55 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 10-1.
The Mountaineers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, South Whidbey was routed by University Prep (Seattle, WA), 50-45, in a league contest.
