The Shelby County Rockets basketball team (Shelbyville, KY), was nudged 65-61 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY)

The Green Waves now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oldham for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Meade County will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 67-37 non-league win over Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-5.

The Rockets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bears enter the District 30 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Spencer County nudged Woodford County (Versailles, KY), 80-77, in a league contest.
