Kansas High School Basketball - Minneapolis can't hold off Valley Heights

The Valley Heights Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Minneapolis Lions to 49 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rossville for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Valley Heights will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Rock Creek (St. George, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
The Lions (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Beloit (Beloit, KS). The Trojans enter the North Central AA contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Beloit nudged Chapman (Chapman, KS), 70-27, in a non-league contest.
